This is a walkthrough with a sample plan. Nothing is charged.
Buying The Cedar Court Fourplex, step by step
BRX-F3600 is a sample plan with no real drawing set, so it cannot be bought. This page shows what happens when someone buys a plan that is for sale: what they pick, what they pay, what they get, and what the designer sees. No order is made, no payment is taken and no email is sent.
Step 1. The buyer picks a license
Every license is the full drawing set; they differ in how many times the buyer may build it. This one is PDF (one build, one address). Pick another.
| The Cedar Court Fourplex, plan BRX-F3600PDF. One build, one address. | $1,995 |
| Total (sample price) | $1,995 |
Step 2. They pay, and the money splits
On a plan for sale the buyer pays $1,995 through Stripe Checkout. Here nothing is charged; these are the numbers it would produce.
- Buyer pays
- $1,995
- Card fee, estimated
- $58.16
- Designer keeps, 70%
- $1,355.78
- Site keeps
- $581.06
The designer keeps 70 percent of the plan after the card fee, sent to their own Stripe account when the files are delivered. The card fee here is Stripe's standard 2.9 percent plus 30 cents; on a real sale it is the fee Stripe actually charged. Changes a designer quotes pay them 90 percent.
Step 3. The files are delivered at once
The moment payment clears, the buyer gets the PDF stamped on every sheet with their name and license. This sample set is stamped SAMPLE. NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION on every page instead.
Download the sample set (PDF)Cover, elevations, floor plans, spec sheet and lot fit, built from this sample plan's own sheets. Not a drawing set.
Step 4. The delivery email
A preview of the email a buyer gets. This one is not sent.
Subject: Your plan BRX-F3600 is ready to download
To: the buyer's checkout email
Thanks for buying The Cedar Court Fourplex.
Your PDF license (one build, one address) is stamped on every sheet of the PDF. The download link works for seven days, and the set stays in your account to download again.
Tell us where the lot is and we show you the builders on the site who cover it, if any do. Nothing is shared without your yes.
Preview only. No email was sent.
Step 5. What the designer sees
A static preview of the designer's dashboard after this sale. Buyers' contact details are not shown to the designer.
